EOC Week 9: Three Great Mission Statements

I really enjoyed Rom Alon's Mission Statement. You can View Rom's Blog at http://roamalonecaa.blogspot.com/ . The Mission Statement told the plan for Shake it Out Chocolate Products as well as explained the reason for Shake it out. The mission statement never stated how much profit it intended to make off Shake it Out which is a good thing because it shows the consumer that they want to please them not attack there pockets.

Another great mission statement was Carlos Summers Fresh Fit Chocolate statement. Carlos explained to the consumers his plan to help the consumer maintain their health, which is very Important to Americans today. He also explained to the consumer what the product will be made off , eliminating the element of surprise about the product and forcing them to know and understand exactly what the product is. Fresh Fit Chocolate and Carlos Summers can be found at http://losmusic-los.blogspot.com/.

The Last of The 3 Great Mission Statements that I enjoyed in this class was Jessica Brooks Sin’s Brownies. The Sin Brownies Mission statement, although not very lengthy, cut straight to the point and let the consumers know the purpose of the product. It also defined why the statement was that short and what a mission statement should consist of.

“The corporate level, the company starts the strategic planning process by defining its overall purpose and mission. This mission is then turned into detailed supporting objectives that guide the whole company. Next, headquarters decides what portfolio of businesses and products is best for the company and how much support to give each one. In turn, each business and product develops detailed marketing and other departmental plans that support the companywide plan. Thus, marketing planning occurs at the business-unit, product, and market levels. It supports company strategic planning with more detailed plans for specific marketing opportunities.” Kotler, Gary Armstrong and Philip.
